Bereke Food Box (bereke means “abundance” in Kyrgyz) is Altyn Uya Public Foundation’s year-round food security programme supporting families raising orphans at home, single mothers, elderly residents, and low-income households across Kyrgyzstan. Our goal is to ensure children can grow up healthy and well-nourished within the warmth of their own families. Each box covers a family’s basic needs for about a month, with extra rounds during Ramadan and the winter months.
Tailored to local dietary needs in Kyrgyzstan, each box provides staple foods for a family kitchen:
Our field staff and volunteers deliver every Bereke Food Box directly to families’ homes with complete respect for their privacy and human dignity. By sponsoring a food parcel, you bring immediate relief and peace of mind to a mother’s table in Kyrgyzstan.
